We were tired of the competition amongst color analysis service providers. Color is for the people – not the franchises. We wanted to demystify the process, give people the freedom of choice + analysts to simplify color analysis so it could be enjoyed by ALL.

FAQS
Let’s answer from a scientific perspective. There are two types of color systems – additive (light) + subtractive(pigment).
When you get draped in-person, you are working with the subtractive system. Drapes are dyed with pigments to reflect certain light colors. It works very, very well. However, the color range for drapes is extremely limited.
When you get drapes virtually, you are working with the additive system. Because it’s based off of light, you have infinite possibilities of color. As long as your session is video (not photographs), you have just as high of a success rate when booking virtually – if not more!
Many methods of doing color analysis have evolved since it was first invented in the 1980’s. Because of this, there is a lot of conflicting information online. For example, that only dark-haired people can be winters *not true*. We’ll do our very best to highlight all information + then explain why we think certain things are correct or not. The hardest thing about color is that it can be very subjective!
That’s totally fine! YOU have to love your colors, that’s rule #1. <indent> We find that clients don’t like their assessment due to a few possibilities: 1) they’ve been typed just by photographs 2) they had a tan when being typed or their eye color has changed 3) the analyst only saw one key season instead of an overarching quality. <indent> If you feel like you’ve been mistyped, we recommend taking the Virtual Self-Analysis Course <link> so you can find your correct color palette!
No. Every person is so unique + we all see color differently, so it is impossible to have a “perfect” method that fits everyone. But we believe each person can find their perfect method: whether it’s through an established analysis system or their own “do it yourself” method.
